citroen c4 anti pollution fault reset
Found gearbox fault on dash. Checked battery voltage 12.51 volts. Carried out RAC scan faults logged in all control units. Carried out reset on gearbox now starting. Advised member to drive vehicle straight to garage for further investigation. Suspect gearbox control unit fault. A temporary repair / assessment has been made to consider onward
Well ive had a fault come up twice on my 1.6 the first time i waited a few mins then started it up again and the fault had gone.. the second time i had the fault showing the system did need resetting luckily, my bro has a universal diagnostic thingy so he could reset it. Nothing else seems affected, still have power etc. Question will continuing to run the car have a detrimental affect, I have upward of 1000 miles to travel

When replacing the old switch for the new one, you need to set the plunger new switch to the same length as the old one.
Common thread is that some Citroen garages, not forgetting experienced independents can diagnose and fix well. Some dealers who haven't invested in technician training or kit can't.
