There will be a whole host of new Euro-6 complaint engines in the new VW Transporter, but we won’t be getting the majority of them until 2016. For now, it’s a range of Euro-5 power units, with 84hp, 100hp, 138hp and 178hp, supplemented by a single Euro-6 offering, with a 100hp version of the same 2-litre TDI engine.

Its normal to see a bit if vapour come out if you manually open the filler cap while the engines hot. To get smoke something has to be burning, to exit the engine something has to be under pressure, either of these would indicate a semi serious fault. If its defo smoke coming out under normal conditions i would get it straight back to the
The 2018 Volkswagen T6 Transporter / Multivan / Caravelle 2.0 TDI 150HP Trendline has a Inline 4, Diesel engine with 1968 cm3 / 120.1 cu-in capacity. How many horsepower (hp) does a 2018 Volkswagen T6 Transporter / Multivan / Caravelle 2.0 TDI 150HP Trendline have?
On medium to high mileage examples on the VW T5 it is fairly common for drive shaft failure. The main cause of this is water ingress around the seal of the offside shaft where it exits the gear box. The shaft is a “push fit” with no rubber seal. A relatively poor design that allows water and rust to build up and eventual failure of the shaft. VCDS User. Admin. Moderator. 5 Aug 2016. #9. Have looked into the engine covers and the official verdict is they are engine dependant and as only velles & calis have them which are euro 6 engines then the covers from these will only fit euro 6 vehicles. If that is the case then a T5.1 with a euro 5 engine should fit the euro 5 T6 but sounds Oil Cooler VW T5 1900 and 2000cc 2003–2015. £33.95. Oil Cooler Seal for Diesel T5 2003–2015. £4.50. The oil pressure switch for reduced oil pressure - F378- is located. at the rear of the cylinder head above the turbocharger. Use a. small hand mirror if necessary as it is difficult to reach. A leak, down. So if its not going up or down would look at the oil pickup strainer in the sump. It may be partially blocked causing oil supply problems.. which would trigger the oil pressure light. Or low pressure in a high millage engine would indicate worn surfaces or bearings causing excessive oil flow and reduced pressure.

Okay, back to oil change, I'm extreme cautious with the AXD engine, she is well treated oil change at least once a year or 15000Km. Using the long life liquid gold oil 0W30, VW 506 01 Drive speeds never exceed above 130km/h, long term fuel consumption has settled to 8,2l / 100Km this is included short trips as we use the T5 as private car as well.

Hi all, just thought I’d post this. I put my T6 in for a final warranty inspection 44k miles and a DSG oil change They came back with a couple of issues. Crank case seal leaking, rear discs worn and pitted, door seal drivers side defective. When I had my tyres changed last week the guy warned me I had an oil Leak.
Here we have a basic schematic, the Solar Panel via the MPPT will charge the leisure battery. The loads are connected via the MPPT LOAD OUTPUT so that if the battery power drops below a set point the LOAD OP will shut off protecting the battery. EDIT: fuse-box feed cable now down-rated 6-10mm (but fused at 30A)
25 Jul 2022. #1. Hi all, just after a bit of advice, bought a T6 204 DSG 4motion a month or so ago and took out All in package so have warranty. It’s had some work done but one thing not being covered is a front main oil seal leak, apparently a flange low down around the cambelt/tensioner. It’s a cambelt off and drop the sump job.
20 Nov 2023. #1. Decided to do an oil test on 4 year old T6 with Miller Oils at 12k miles after 12 months (long life oil supplied by VW). Reason for testing was to check if I need to do oil change before Christmas (busy time) Test came back with soot at 2.7% with advisory to change oil immediately. All other measurements were OK, little bit low
