Hi All, It is with great disbelief I am starting this discussion, I think I need some thoughts on how to fill diesel in my Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCI? The issue I am facing is that while filling the nozzle keeps cutting and it take ages to fill even 15 litres. So I recently bought a mk5 2.0 180Ps Mondeo. Lovely car, 80k, full service history etc.and the usual oil leak from the high pressure fuel pump drive gear housing gasket. Looking online it's a "standard" leak on all these engines - suggestions are to replace if it's really bad, or just put up with it, because replacing the gaskets only lasts
Mondeo mk4.5 2.0 tdci zetec estate, 2011. parking sensors, pet cage, power steering whine. Haven't done anything further since replacing the fuel pump gasket. Still leaks. The yellowish unit controls the amount of fuel fed to the HP pump, is IMV or inlet metering valve.

Think the oil cooler thermostat is only available from ford (the one on the water pump) the standard thermostat in the housing on the gear box side is available from most motor factors but i found the o-ring on these to be thinner so when its seated in the housing the o-ring does'nt actually get squashed enough to make a seal so if you buy an after market thermostat keep the one you removed

If the ignition is turned off and back on it cranks over normal again for 4 -5 seconds.I found the change in tone of the engine is linked to p0201 p0202 p0203 p0204 appearing. i checked on the diagnostics and it says the desired fuel pressure is around 4400 psi which it does reach but as soon as the engine noise changes it drops to around 2000
