However, the instructions in your second link, say to open the game controllers screen in windows xp, the screen you can get to from the control panel, or by typing in the right stuff in the run option of the start menu like the website's instructions say.Now click the Presets dropdown box at the bottom of the program and choose "Controller (Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows)" and then click "Load".
